Arrivals – Check in at campground
Open day for arrival of rally attendees. Check in at park. Pick up name tags and T-shirts at group site. Pay any outstanding fees owed. Confirm Indian Creek Dinner information. Confirm art project participation. Sign up for MASA and Skymed lunches.

Gather at group sight (BYOB) for introductions, meet and greet and socializing. We will also have a discussion about the rally and how it will go for the week.
9:00 am – 10:30 am – Seminar – Pennant Advisors – Mark Maliwauki
Pennant Advisors LLC is a broker of Medicare insurance plans. Most Medicare beneficiaries and those who will become eligible this year or next want to know what coverage options are available and where to turn for help when there are questions or concerns. Pennant Advisors will be doing a short Medicare presentation on Tuesday morning and then will be available during the rally for one-on-one conversations to answer whatever questions HDT Rally attendees may have about their current coverage or future coverage options.

10:45 am – 12:15 am – Seminar – RV Battery Installations – Chad Heiser of Heiser RV Solar & Electric
Considerations and components for an RV battery bank. I will discuss the current battery technologies along with the pros and cons of each type. I will cover charging, discharging, wiring, sizing and monitoring of an RV battery bank. There will also be specific information on various battery banks I have installed.

1:45 pm – 3:15 pm – Seminar – RV Inverter Installations – Chad Heiser of Heiser RV Solar & Electric
Considerations and components for an RV inverter installation. I will discuss all aspects of inverter installations including basic electrical calculations, sizing, wiring considerations, charging, inverter types and recommendations, battery monitoring and finally a phased approach to the installation. There will also be specific information on various systems I have installed.

I will discuss all aspects of solar installations including basic electrical calculations, panel types and array sizing, wiring considerations, charge controller types and recommendations, monitoring and finally installation considerations. There will also be specific information on various systems I have installed.

A rally attendee and local Kleen Tank franchisee, Jeff Young, will discuss the Kleen tank process and how to maintain your RV holding tanks. Jeff will also be providing his Kleen Tank services at the rally. If you are interested in the service, you can contact Jeff directly at 208-412-0560.

10:45 am – 12:15 am – Seminar – Proteng RV Fire Suppression – Neal Pope
A rally attendee and Proteng retailer and installer, Neal Pope of Nomad Neal, LLC, will discuss RV fire safety and how Proteng can protect your RV from a fire. Nomad Neal’s Proteng services will also be available throughout the rally. If you are interested in the services he provides, you can contact him directly at 727-359-1800.

1:45 pm – 3:15 pm – Seminar – Alaska Trip in an HDT – Davis and Sondra Kahanamoku
David and Sondra are full time HDT RVer’s and have been to Alaska both with and without an HDT. They are long time HDTers and have a lot of experience traveling with and dealing with the specific issues that can arrise with an HDT.

3:30 pm – 5:00 pm – Seminar – Basic Gun Safety – Chad Heiser
This seminar is geared toward new gun owners, but will cover things that all gun owners should know. I will teach some basic firearms skills and discuss basic firearms considerations in preparation for the firearms day on Thursday. This class is open to anyone interested in firearms and will be both a group discussion and a presentation.

6:30 pm – ??:?? pm – Happy hour & Left, Right, Center Tournaments
We will set up tables for Left, Right, Center tournaments. This is a quick and easy to learn dice game that is fun to play and can result in winning a bit of money. Bring some dollar bills to play.

9:00 am – 9:30 am – Mandatory Range Safety Meeting – Chad Heiser
This meeting is required attendance for all people who wish to go to the range for the day. We will cover basic range safety and the rules for the day.
9:30 am – 10:00 am – Break
Take a break and gather your equipment to head out to the range. Bring food and drink you would like for lunch as there are no food services at the range. Chairs would also be advisable.
10:00 am – 10:30 am – Travel to the range
We will caravan out to the range together. We will be heading to Pickle Butte Shooting Range/George Nourse Range at 16802 Nash Road, Nampa, ID 83686. This is a public range open to anyone. We will do our best to keep the group together once we arrive at the range.
10:30 pm – 4:00 pm – Shooting
This is intended to be a fun outing for both experienced and inexperienced/novice shooters. Please bring your own firearms and ammunition to be used at the range. If you do not have you’re your own forearms, but would like to participate, contact me and we can discuss options. I will provide some targets and stands, but if you have some you would like to bring and use/share that would be extremely helpful as well. I will have some additional help to provide individualized shooting instruction for anyone who would like. Obviously, firearms can be dangerous, and we want everyone to be safe, so we will implement safety rules and instructions, but this event is a participate at your own risk event.

5:30 pm – 6:00 pm – Indian Creek Steakhouse – No host cocktails
Our room will open for dinner attendees with our own bar tender for no host cocktails at 5:30 pm.
6:00 pm – 7:30 pm – Indian Creek Steakhouse – Dinner
Dinner will be served at 6:00 pm, but our cocktail bar opens at 5:30 pm, so we can arrive any time after that. We will have our own bartender and bar area in our own private banquet room. They will have all the normal alcohol and soft drink choices available. The dinner choices are ribeye, salmon or chicken, with cheesy potatoes and salad. The fee for dinner is a per person charge dependent on the entree selected and includes the hall rental, our own private bar area and all the necessary items to host a group our size. I will have a list of attendees and their dinner choices that I will confirm with everyone in person at the rally. Indian Creek Steakhouse is large and can accommodate our entire group. The restaurant is located at 711 Main St Caldwell, ID 83605.

The restaurant has a dance floor, pool tables, and Golden Tee. They also have a mechanical bull and other amenities.

Check in and pay (for those who didn’t pre-pay) for the wine tour.
11:00 am – 4:00 pm – Wine Tour – All Aboard Fun Bus
I have hired All Aboard Fun Bus to take rally attendees on a wine tour of the local wineries. The tour company will pick us up at the RV Park around 10:30 am for check in and we will hit the road by 11:00 am. The tour company will also be arranging a food truck to be available at one of the winery stops to provide the opportunity for attendees to purchase lunch during the tour. The tour is limited to 25 participants. The wine tour fee is $89.00 per person. The payment can be made Venmo ahead of time or by cash, check, Venmo, or credit card the day of the tour.

Medical Air Services Association (MASA) was founded in 1974. We pioneered the emergency transportation industry-standard Plan Agreement, along with the ten basic member benefits that are the cornerstone of our association.

MASA is providing lunch for all who signed up for the presentation at the beginning of the week.
2:00 pm – 4:00 pm – Painting Party – Michelle Brotzman of The Angry Easel Paint Parties LLC
The painting party will be led by a local artist and is open to anyone willing to have a good time. No artistic talent is necessary. This will be the sixth year we have offered the art project and it has gained popularity each time. The artist will provide all the materials necessary, all you need to do is show up and have fun. There is a $20.00 fee payable to the artist to cover the materials and her time. The artist will guide participants through the process of creating a personalized painting.

Everyone is encouraged to bring a dish to share with the group. The WCR potluck dinner is wide open and meant to be a fun gathering (much like our rally in general). I do not assign out specific dishes nor types of dishes to anyone. Whatever you wish to bring, and share will gladly be accepted. I know there are a lot of good cooks out there and I look forward to sampling your creations. We will have further discussions about this our first night at the park as a group.

Featuring 85 foot pull-thrus and classy facilities, Ambassador is located near Idaho’s wine country and convenient to the Boise metro area: the perfect home base for all your activities.
2024 Range Day Location
George W. Nourse Public Shooting Range
Located on the southwest side of Pickles Butte, southwest of Nampa, the Nourse Range is part of 1,350-acre Jubilee Park, operated by Canyon County Parks and Waterways. There are nine "shooting lanes" of various sizes and lengths, separated by earthen berms. Each range has a firing line established using large wooden boxes suitable for bench rests. There is no seating. The boxes are marked with available yardage for that lane, from 43 to 97 yards. Rifle, pistol, and shotgun shooting are all allowed at the range. Restroom facility on site. No cost to use range. Open seven days a week; daylight hours.
2024 Post Rally Get Together Location
Hemingway Butte OHV Park
Hemingway Butte OHV Park is located on BLM land and allows dry camping for up to 14 days. There are no facilities other than vault toilets at the park. There are many miles of riding trails in the area in addition to the OHV park itself.
